Scheduling:

Lesson times are subject to availability. Cameron Carbone will confirm the final date, time, time zone, and lesson format by email or text message.

The student may request one reschedule by giving at least 48 hours’ notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

If the student cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice, fails to attend, or cannot participate because of preventable technical or scheduling issues, the Trial Lesson payment is nonrefundable and the lesson may be considered used.

If Cameron Carbone must cancel or cannot provide the lesson, the student may choose either:

1. A mutually agreed replacement time; or

2. A full refund of the Trial Lesson payment.

If the student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time unless Cameron Carbone chooses to extend it.

For in-person lessons, the student agrees to follow all reasonable studio, building, safety, and scheduling rules communicated before or during the lesson.

Online Lesson Terms

For online lessons, the student is responsible for having a functioning device, internet connection, camera, microphone, and a suitable space to participate. Facetime is generally used for online lessons, with either Zoom or Discord as back-up options if Facetime is unavailable.

Recommendation: have an external device that will not be used for lesson video feed connected to a speaker for metronome use during our lesson.

Cameron Carbone is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by the student’s equipment, internet connection, software, or environment.

Practice & Results

The student understands that improvement depends on factors including practice consistency, focus, attendance, and implementation of recommendations.

Cameron Carbone does not guarantee any specific musical result, speed, technique level, performance outcome, or timeline from the Trial Lesson.

Health & Safety

The student is responsible for determining whether drumming and physical practice are appropriate for them. The student agrees to stop or modify an exercise if they experience pain, dizziness, numbness, or other concerning symptoms and to seek qualified medical advice when appropriate. The student agrees to inform Cameron Carbone before the lesson of any relevant physical limitation, injury, or condition that could affect participation.

Recording/Use of Content

Communication Consent

I consent to receive lesson-related communications by email and text message, including scheduling, reminders, payment confirmations, and follow-up.

Agreement & Acknowledgement

1. I have read and understood this Trial Lesson Agreement.

2. I am purchasing one 60-minute Trial Lesson for $75 USD.

3. The Trial Lesson does not enroll me in an ongoing lesson package.

4. Any future six-month or longer lesson commitment requires a separate agreement.

5. I understand the scheduling, cancellation, late-arrival, and refund policies.

6. I provided accurate information.

7. I understand that results depend partly on my practice and participation.

8. I agree to conduct the lesson respectfully and follow reasonable safety instructions.
